Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Zed-Fin Financial Services Limited (“Zed-Fin”, “we”, “us”), including our website and our mobile loan products offered through MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money. By accessing our website or applying for a loan, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use our loan services you must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Zambian mobile money account with MTN or Airtel, and meet the lending criteria applied at the time of your application. We may decline any application at our discretion.

2. Loans and Repayment

Loan amounts, fees, interest and repayment periods are presented to you through the USSD menu before you confirm an application. By confirming, you authorise repayment to be collected from your mobile money wallet in accordance with the terms shown. You are responsible for repaying on time; late or non-payment may affect your eligibility for future loans and may be reported to credit reference bureaus as permitted by law.

3. Fees and Charges

All applicable fees and interest are disclosed before you accept a loan. Mobile network operators may apply their own transaction charges, which are outside our control.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your mobile money PIN and device secure, and not to use our services for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your mobile money account.

5. Availability

Our services depend on mobile network availability and third-party platforms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for delays or failures caused by network operators or events beyond our reasonable control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Zambian law, Zed-Fin is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Zambian courts.
